just because your kid isn’t doing so well in school doesn’t mean you should take away the ONE thing that makes them happy (colorguard, directing middle school theatre, stage crew). Instead, try to help them with whatever subject is troubling them. Tutor them, get them a tutor (hey we have it for free at our school), let them do what they need to do to finish their assignments...
